"Are you a wizard, or what?"

This spell is a curse used to petrify an opponent in duels. The body of the one hit is immobilised and turns gaunt and pale, akin to stone.
Behind of scenes
- This spell makes an appearance in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film) used by Draco Malfoy on Harry Potter for listining to a conversation that he and Vincent Crabbe and Goyle were having.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, in which Molly Weasley uses it along with a bursting curse to kill Bellatrix Lestrange. In the novel, Bellatrix is hit by a curse squarely in the chest, her eyes bulge and her body topples lifelessly to the ground instead.
- This spell and Duro may be the same spell.
