The Peruvian National Quidditch team competed in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup. They were flattened in the semi-finals by Ireland. Despite this, the Peruvian team is considered the best team from South America, and are tipped to be first Latin Quidditch World Cup winners within the next ten years.
