A penguin is an animal that lives in frozen areas, but sometimes they are kept in a zoo. They were possibly magical creatures as Rubeus Hagrid knew them. On a train-journey with Harry Potter and Hagrid, Harry said he needed some gloves, and Hagrid said that they don't remind a penguin.
