Pelowski was an American No-Maj who worked as a tailor, and co-owned Janek & Pelowski Co., which operated in New York in the 1920s, along with Janek.[1]
Pelowski may have been of Polish heritage, given that this was the origin of their surname,[2] and their shop's sign featured the Polish flag crossed with the American one.[1]
