The pecan is a species of the hickory tree, which produces a nut also known as the pecan. Pecans are used in some of the sweets sold at Honeydukes. Pecans can trigger food allergies in humans, and thus Honeydukes posted a notice warning consumers against the presence of pecans and other allergens in their products.[1]
