Paul Thornley is an English actor who portrayed Ron Weasley in the original West End Palace Theatre production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.[1] He left the London production on the 21 May, 2017.[2]
On 2 August, 2017 it was confirmed that Thornley would be reprising his role of Ron Weasley in the original Broadway production.[3] He left the Broadway production on the 17 March, 2019.[4]
Thornley's voice is heard in every production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, despite not physically appearing. His voice is heard as the voice of the Ludo Bagman that appear in Act Two, Three and Four. Thornley recorded these vocals while appearing in the original production.
Thornley portrayed George Weasley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Chapter 6 (The Journey from Platform Nine and Three-Quarters) for the Harry Potter At Home project.[5]
