Mrs. Patil was the mother of Parvati and Padma Patil and a member of the Patil family. During the 1996–1997 school year, she and her husband, Mr. Patil, worried that their twin daughters would be in danger at Hogwarts since Lord Voldemort was back. The couple considered withdrawing the girls from the school, but ultimately did not.
