Partial Vanishment is a spell, presumably related to the normal Vanishing Spell. It partially Vanishes an object, and is presumably more difficult than plain Vanishment. Harry Potter was looking for a textbook covering the subject in the Hogwarts Library when he walked in on Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, and Theodore Nott discussing the interview Harry had given to The Quibbler, specifically the fact that he had named all four of their fathers as Death Eaters.[1]
