A parrot, also known as psittacine, are birds that can be found in tropical and subtropical regions.

At some time in or before 1991, Dudley Dursley possessed a parrot, which he swapped for a real live air rifle. The birdcage in which the parrot was kept was moved to The Smallest Bedroom.^[1]
