This spell seals a scrolled up parchment seamlessly, so others cannot open it to read. However, with the tap of a wand, it can be unsealed. Dolores Umbridge used this in 1995 to seal up a parchment that she wrote up for Minerva McGonagall, and instructing Harry Potter to deliver it to her, all the while the boy could not open it to read. Professor McGonagall opened it with a tap of her wand.
