A panino (plural: panini) is a type of sandwich originating in Italy. It is typically made from a roll or small loaf of bread, cut in half and filled with cheese and some type of deli meat (such as salami, ham, mortadella, or parma ham), and is often served hot after being grilled.[1] The Luchino Caffe in London where Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger sought refuge after fleeing the wedding of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour served this food, advertising "hot panini" on its front window.[2]
