This painting depicted a giraffe was hung at Hogwarts Castle in the 1990s, on the seventh-floor level of the Grand Staircase, among portraits of other animals such as a tiger, a caged monkey and an elephant. It was seen walking around through the seventh floor portraits when the Fat Lady was missing.[1] You find many portraits that seem 'out of place' in Hogwarts. It is all part of the school its self. As Hogwarts is bare when Dolores Umbridge removes all the paintings.
