The Northern Courtyard Annex is one of the cloisters in the inner part of Hogwarts Castle. This courtyard has grass in the open area, and a two have grown there over the centuries. There is a a river in the courtyard, where you can only access using a broomstick. It is located on the north part of the castle. Flying classes were taught here by Madam Hooch. The Northern Courtyard is adjacent to this cloister. ^[1]
