North America is a continent in the Earth's Western hemisphere. The continent is made up of Canada, the United States of America, and Mexico.

Canada is home to three of the most accomplished Quidditch teams in the modern day: the Haileybury Hammers, the Moose Jaw Meteorites, and the Stonewall Stormers.

The Fitchburg Finches have won the U.S. Quidditch cup seven times.

Salem, Massachusetts is famous for its seventeenth-century hysteria over witchcraft and it's witch trials, though sections of it broke off to form new towns and cities like Peabody and Danvers (formerly Salem Village) and it is now a typical suburb of Boston. There is still a witches institute in Salem though.

The Sweetwater All-Stars are a U.S. Quidditch team that gained international notoriety when they defeated the Quiberon Quafflepunchers after a five day match.

North America is Native to an abundance of creatures, such as the Dugbog, Gnomes, Jarveys, Jobberknolls, Knarls, Nogtails, and Re'ems, most of their populations in Canada. The Doxy and Clabbert are native to the U.S. though.

A large number of North Americans visited England in 1994 for the Quidditch World Cup.
