The Nine Lives Badge was an award given by the Duelling Club to students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the 1996–1997 school year, regardless of their house. To receive the badge, students had to successfully resist the Full Body-Bind Curse at least nine combined times during any duel.^[1] The badge was a Duelling Silver Badge.

• The name of this badge is derived from the superstition that cats have nine lives, because students must survive the Full Body-Bind Curse nine times to earn it. The badge also has a cat on it.
