Mrs. Scamander was the mother of Newt Scamander. She bred fancy hippogriffs for a living and helped to inspire her son's lifelong interest in magical creatures. Her other family include her great-grandson Rolf Scamander, his wife Luna Lovegood and their children Lorcan and Lysander.
