The mother of Newt Scamander bred hippogriffs for a living and helped to inspire her son's lifelong interest in magical creatures. Her other family include her daughter-in-law Porpentina Scamander, her great-grandson Rolf Scamander, her great-granddaughter-in-law Luna Lovegood and her two great-great-grandsons Lorcan and Lysander.
