The New Zealand Ministry of Magic governs the Wizarding community of New Zealand. Based in Wellington, the Ministry has spent a lot of time, effort, and money keeping early Māori art that depicts white wizards playing Quidditch, away from Muggles. All the carvings and paintings are currently on display in the Ministry. The Māori have witches and wizards among themselves named Tōhunga. Tōhunga were wiped out by the British in the Early 1900's.
