The mother of Myrtle was a Muggle.[1] Her daughter was a Muggle-born witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was killed by a Basilisk on 13 June, 1943. She and her husband planned to come to the school shortly after this tragic event, however it is unlikely this happened seeing as muggles cannot see Hogwarts.[2]
