The mother of Myrtle was a Muggle.[1] Her daughter was a Muggle-born witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was killed by a Basilisk on June 13, 1943. She and her husband went to the school shortly after this tragic event.[2]
