The father of Myrtle was a Muggle.[1] His daughter was a Muggle-born witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and was killed by a Basilisk there on June 13, 1943. Sometime later, he and his wife went to the school, presumably to speak with school officials and collect Myrtle's body.[2]
