St Mungo Bonham (1560 - 1659) was a wizard and Healer who founded St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries in the 1600s.

He was also known as a founder of the Glasgow Cathedral. A Feast day for St. Mungo, also known as St. Mungo's Day,[1] is observed on the 13th of January every year after he was canonised.
- Interestingly, Lula Landry, the victim in Robert Galbraith's first Cormoran Strike novel The Cuckoo's Calling, lives in the fictional Kentigern Gardens, in Mayfair. Kentigern, as noted above, in the real name of the real-life Saint Mungo.

Etymology
The name "Mungo" is possibly derived from Welsh mwyn "gentle, kind". This was a nickname of the 6th-century Saint Kentigern.
