Mould-on-the-Wold is a wizarding village located in England.

Around 1891, the town was the scene of an attack on a young Ariana Dumbledore by three Muggle boys who had spied on her innocent, uncontrolled use of magic. The boys tried to force Ariana to show them her trick, but when she was unable, they turned violent, utterly disrupting Ariana's magical ability. As a result of the attack, she became unwilling to use magic, and the resulting magical buildup caused her to have violently powerful magical accidents

About a year after the attack on Ariana, Kendra relocated herself and her three children (Percival having been sent to Azkaban) to Godric's Hollow, where she isolated the family in an attempt to hide Ariana's disability
