This snake somehow came into [[Morfin Gaunt]]'s possession in the late [[1800s]] or early [[1900s]]. It had a very short life as Morfin killed it sometime before [[1925]], and then nailed it to the door of the [[House of Gaunt]], much to everybody's frightening.
