Moran was an Irish witch who played as the Chaser for the Irish National Quidditch team. She played alongside Connolly, Barry Ryan, Troy, Mullet, Quigley and Lynch during the 1994 Quidditch World Cup final, when they won over the Bulgarians. She, along with her teammates scored one of the points for Ireland, played well, performing moves that astonished Harry Potter and the Weasleys. It is unknown what team she plays on normally.
The Irish surname "Moran" means a descendant of Mórán, translated as "big one."
