The Moose Jaw Meteorites are a Canadian Quidditch team that play out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They are considered one of the most accomplished Quidditch teams in the world.
In the 1970s, they were threatened with disbandment due to their penchant for performing victory flights over nearby towns while trailing fiery sparks from their brooms. The Meteorites now confine this to pitch at the end of the game, and Meteorite games are considered a tourist attraction.
