The Moontrimmer was a broomstick created by Gladys Boothby in 1901. Designed with a slim ash handle and the ability to fly higher than other brooms (and remain controllable) at the time, the brooms were a revolution in broomstick design, and were in great demand by Quidditch players. However, working on her own, Gladys was never able to keep up with the demand for them.
