Moon was the surname of a wizarding family of unknown blood status that lived in Great Britain in the 1990s,[3][4] but by 2014 at least one family member lived in New Zealand.[5]

- Leonard Spencer-Moon (possibly) - Minister for Magic 1939-1948.[1]
- Lily Moon - a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who was sorted in 1991, the same year as Harry Potter.[3][4]
- Dennis Moon - Quidditch player for New Zealand.[5]
