Montague Knightley (1506–1588) was a professional Wizard's Chess player. During his career, he eventually became the Wizard's Chess Champion. For his skill at Wizard's Chess, he became immortalised on a Chocolate Frog Card.[1]
Etymology[]
The name "Montague" is from a surname meaning "pointed mountain" in French. "Knightly" is presumably a nod to the Knight chess piece.
