Mobilicorpus (MO-bil-ee-COR-pus (IPA: /mo.ˌbɪl.i.ˈko˞.pɪs/)) is a spell that levitates and moves bodies. The incantation comes from the latin words Mobilis (Latin for movable) and Corpus (Latin for body).
Uses
- Sirius Black used the spell on Severus Snape in 1994 after he was stunned in the Shrieking Shack. It was probably used on Peter Pettigrew by Lord Voldemort in the Little Hangleton graveyard to make him come forward.
Notes
It is possible that Mobiliarbus and Mobilicorpus are variations of the same basic spell, since they share the Mobili- prefix.
