The Ministry Detention Area is an area within the British Ministry of Magic, located on Level Ten, beneath the Wizengamot Court Chambers. Convicted wizards are imprisoned there while awaiting transportation to Azkaban Fortress. It is a dark-tiled area, with circular corridors and gilded gates closing the cells.[1]
