Mervyn Wynch was a student who began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry between 1987 and 1989. By the 1993-1994 school year, he had been made a Prefect, and was tasked with patrolling areas of the school off limits to students.

↑ To have been a Prefect in the 1993-1994 school year, he would have had to have been in his fifth year or up by that point, thus putting his possible range of birth dates between 1 September, 1975 and 31 August, 1978.
