Melanie Slade is a British actress who had a cameo role as a spectator sitting beside Hermione Granger during the Gryffindor Quidditch tryouts in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She landed the part because her boyfriend, footballer Theo Walcott, is the nephew of director David Yates' wife Yvonne Walcott.^[1]
