Megan Jones

Megan Jones is a Witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991 to at least 1996. She shared a dormitory with Hannah Abbott and Susan Bones.

[edit] Early Life

Megan, possibly related to Hestia and Gwenog Jones, came to be educated in the magic arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Albus Dumbledore as Headmaster. She boarded the Hogwarts Express and continued from Hogsmeade Station to the school via the enchanted boats. Megan and her classmates were alerted to the general rules and House system by Minerva McGonagall in the Entrance Hall Antechamber. They proceeded to the Great Hall where the Sorting Ceremony was held. In alphabetical order of last name, the Sorting Hat placed each student into either Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. Megan was called up after Wayne Hopkins and Sorted into Hufflepuff House with Pomona Sprout, the Herbology Professor, as her Head of House. She shared a dormitory in the Hufflepuff Basement with Hannah Abbott, Susan Bones and another girl.

In 1995, Megan and her classmates sat their Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations (O.W.L.s) in the Great Hall under the Wizarding Examinations Authority. Her results are unknown, as are the subjects she took an O.W.L. in.

In 1997, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was taken over by Death Eaters. It is unknown what happened to Megan, as she may have been Muggle-born and incarcerated in Azkaban Prison, or she may have stayed and participated in The Battle of Hogwarts.
