A Mars Bar is a type of candy in the Muggle world. On his first trip on the Hogwarts Express in 1991, Harry Potter originally intended to buy some from the food trolley, before learning that they only carried wizard candies, such as Pumpkin Pasties, Chocolate Frogs, Cauldron Cakes, and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.^[1]

The Mars Bar is a chocolate bar manufactured by Mars Inc.^[2] It is not specified if the Mars Bar mentioned in the novel is the same as the real world product.
