Maria Monteith was an Australian witch who played as a Chaser on the Australian National Quidditch team during the 1994 Quidditch World Cup.
Etymology
A monteith is a large ornamental punch bowl, which has notches on it for hanging up the punch glasses. It can also be for holding wine and hanging wine glasses.
