Sometime in the 1991-1992 school year, someone called Argus Filch, the caretaker at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a "mangy old goat". Filch took offence to that, particularly because of the fact he had no mange on him.
Behind the scenes
- Argus Filch's line of dialogue about someone calling him a "mangy old goat" was intended to be used in the PC version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. However, this is not featured in the final game, and thus this dialogue goes unused, though it still appears in the game's files.
