Magenta Comstock (1895 - 1991) was an experimental artist, whose portraits' eyes not only follow the viewer around the room, but also follow them home.

Biography

Early Life

Magenta Comstock was born in 1895 into parents of unknown blood status. She either was home schooled by her parents or attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry which she would have attended from 1906 to 1913. She presumably purchased her wand from the Ollivander family when she was eleven.

After she graduated from Hogwarts, she became an artist and began expertimenting with her artwork. Her portraits were reknown for their staring eyes which would often follow viewers home.

Death and Post-Mortem

Comstock died in 1991 at the age of 96. She was on a Chocolate Frog Card after her death and she was awarded 'Wizard of the Month' in 2007.

Behind the scenes

Magenta Comstock was the Wizard of the Month on J.K. Rowling's official site in April 2007.
She died the year Harry Potter and his friends began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
