• In earlier drafts of the series, Morag MacDougal was called Isabel.
• Katherine MacDougal and Isabel (Morag) MacDougal shared a draft slot in Rowling's character list. It is therefore possible that both Katherine and Isabel, whose name was later changed to Morag, are sisters.
