Loxias was a wizard who became Master of the Elder Wand after Barnabas Deverill. Loxias rechristened it "the Deathstick", and used it to lay waste to anyone who displeased him. It is unknown who killed him, as—according to Dumbledore—many claimed to have finished him off, including his own mother, ^[2] but from Xenophilius Lovegood's understanding of history, either Arcus or Livius seems to have done it, as one of them was the next master of the Elder Wand. ^[3]
