A liver is an organ in most organisms that produces chemicals necessary for digestion. Livers of animals are commonly eaten by humans. A hag ordered raw liver in the Leaky Cauldron in 1993. It is also a known flavour of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. A Dragon liver is sold as a potion ingredient in Diagon Alley.
