The wand of Lily Evans was 10¼" willow[1]. It was manufactured by Mr. Ollivander, who described the wand as "swishy" and good for charms work.[1]

As Lily did not have her wand on her the night that Voldemort came to kill her son, it is unknown where it was. It is possible that the wand was buried with Lily.

Behind the scenes

  • The willow tree symbolises psychic abilities, love, deep emotions, intuition, and dreaming. Likewise, the wand wood could reflect Lily's character, in particular her deep love of Harry, her son.
