"Add colour to your writing with this vibrant ink."
— Description[src]

Lilac Ink is a kind of ink that Gilderoy Lockhart used in the 1990s.

In 1992, when Harry Potter had detention with the professor, he helped him with his fan-mail by addressing the envelopes in lilac ink. When Harry heard the Serpent of Slytherin's voice, he jumped in shock and accidentally spilled the bottle of lilac ink over Veronica Smethley's street address.[1][2]
