- George Weasley: "Would you like us to clean out your ears for you?"
- Fred Weasley: "Or any part of your body, really, we're not fussy where we stick this."
- — Fred and George Weasley intimidate Zacharias Smith.[src]
This instrument was among the joke products sold at Zonko's Joke Shop. George Weasley purchased one before the meeting at the Hog's Head Inn to gauge interest in a private group to study Defence Against the Dark Arts. He and Fred used this instrument to threaten Zacharias Smith when the latter expressed doubt in Harry Potter.[1]
