Lemur is a clade of strepsirrhine primates endemic to the island of Madagascar.[1]
Lemur is one of the many creatures found in the Transfiguration Classroom. The particular lemurs used for Transfiguration are ring-tailed lemurs. These lemurs were kept in Minerva McGonagall's office, as seen in 1996.[2]
