- — Harry Potter regarding the Legal Section[src]
The Legal Section is an unpopular area in the Hogwarts Library. The books within this section discuss magical law and, among a series of "obscure titles", one could find tomes on hippogriff-baiting.
History
In their third year Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger hoped they would find information on hippogriff-baiting that would help Hagrid at Buckbeak's hearing.[1] In 1993 it had an infestation of Imps. A Draconifors-dragon statue can also be found here.
