EtymologyEdit

• Laurasia was a supercontinent that most recently existed as a part of the split of the Pangaean supercontinent in the late Mesozoic era. It included most of the landmasses which make up today's continents of the northern hemisphere.

Behind the scenesEdit

• The character never appears in the books and was exclusively created by David Yates, Steven Kloves and the producers for the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. ^[2] The character was portrayed by British actress, River George.
• The character Laurasia was cut in the final edit of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film.
