Albus Dumbledore: "We need to find her. Professor McGonagall, please go to Mr. Filch at once and tell him to search every painting in the castle for the Fat Lady."
Peeves: "You'll be lucky!"
Albus Dumbledore: "What do you mean, Peeves?"
Peeves: "Ashamed, Your Headship, sir. Doesn't want to be seen. She's a horrible mess. Saw her running through the landscape up on the fourth floor, sir, dodging between the trees. Crying something dreadful. Poor thing."
Albus Dumbledore and Peeves, the Poltergeist, after the attack on the Fat Lady.[src]

This painting hung in the Fourth Floor Corridor at Hogwarts Castle and depicted a landscape with some trees. After Sirius Black's attack on the Fat Lady on 31 October, 1993, she was seen by Peeves running through this landscape crying about her attacker.[1]

Behind the scenes

This is possibly the painting of a hippopotamus seen in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, as it shares the landscape and trees, just adding various animals and the Fat Lady hiding behind a hippopotamus instead of a tree.
