Lady Margaret Nurseries was a garden centre established in 1929, where ornamental trees and shrubs, hedgings, climbers, herbaceous borders, ground cover and wild flowers, were cultivated for transplanting. Lady Margaret Nurseries was a family business, and an affiliated member of the British Association of Garden Centres.[1]
There was a 1943 calendar from Lady Margaret Nurseries still hung at the Riddle House in Little Hangleton in the 1990s.[1]
