Lego Harry Potter was created in 2001, to coincide with the release of the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Sets for the first five films have been released to coincide with the release of the movies.

Entertainment released on June 25, 2010 Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 a video game developed by Traveller's Tales, covering "the Philisopher's Stone", "the Chamber of Secrets", "the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "The Goblet of Fire". Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, covering the last three installments of the series, will be released in winter 2011.
